In April 2025, a long-awaited dream became a reality for a school and its surrounding community in Haiti. Thanks to the generosity and dedication of Agape Missions International, a brand-new clean water well was completed—bringing life-sustaining access to safe drinking water for children at El Shadai School and families in the community who had long gone without.
A Gift of Clean Water
For years, the children at this Haitian school and their community endured the daily struggle of accessing clean water—often traveling long distances and relying on sources that were neither safe nor reliable. But that changed when Agape Missions International, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a heart for global service, stepped in and fully funded the construction of a deep-water well on the school’s grounds.
This well, now fully operational, does more than just deliver water—it brings dignity, health, and hope to everyone it serves.
A Day of Celebration
When the well was unveiled to the children, it was more than just a new structure—it was a symbol of love, compassion, and a better future. The moment they saw the flowing water, they burst into joy, laughter, and cheers. Some splashed, some danced, and some simply stood in amazement. Their teachers tried—unsuccessfully—to gather them back into the classrooms, but in that beautiful moment, no one could blame them. The celebration was heartfelt, and deeply deserved.
As teachers, community leaders, and representatives from Agape Missions International looked on, there was an unspoken understanding: this was more than a well—it was a turning point.
